Anonymous asked: Are you gay? Or pansexual? (I saw that cool genderblind shirt you were wearing while stalking your pics haha) If you are, and you don't mind me asking, what's your journey with that been like?

I don’t like labeling myself because there are new words being invented every day to more definitively express something about ourselves, but from an outside perspective people have labeled me pansexual, I’ve learned to not fight it/embrace it.

I am attracted to people regardless of gender. There are some pansexuals who care a lot about gender, but I have found that it has never been one’s gender that I notice or put into account when falling for someone. It’s very hard for me to explain, but for me, love and attraction is indeed “gender blind”, it’s not a matter of “I like girls” or “I like boys”.

I rarely am overcome with affectionate feelings, if I allow myself to fall, it’s a special moment for me, and at it’s forefront has nothing to do with sex (can’t think about that until much later, I need to build a lot of trust with someone before sex) and nothing to do with what’s in their pants, it’s a strong connection with someone that I long to explore.
