“The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things. But vice versa - the bad things don’t necessarily spoil the good things or make them unimportant.”

“I shot a little video every day of 2011 on my Canon Powershot, then I edited it all down to a little over a second each. It’s interesting to be able to look back on my year and remember these little moments. I love living in LA. I love the friends I’ve made. And I love seeing how much has changed over just one year being here.”

This video made me extremely happy. Life is so precious and beautiful. Sometimes we forget that.

“If you let people’s perception of you dictate your behavior, you will never grow as a person. But if you leave yourself open to experience, despite what others think, then you will learn and grow.” — Mr. Feeny (Boy Meets World)

There is an explosion of life, creativity, and passion around every corner
Doesn’t matter whether it’s the great wall or just going to pick up the dry cleaning and doing something fun on the way there
Things can happen at any minute;

Every time I climb into my kid’s tree house,
Even if it’s something you don’t necessarily like,
Even if it’s something you may not do again,
Suprise is often good.
Let’s just GO!
If you fully embrace that moment, you have had that experience,
It’s just that simple
Everywhere. Every moment.

When they say you can’t, when they hold you back, DON’T LISTEN.

  • Live by your own rules
  • Express yourself
  • Explore the possibilities
  • Let. Yourself. GO!

Never feel guilty for creating your own happiness. Just laugh! Have fun! Who knows what will happen tomorrow, so live it up NOW!

“Go into the arts. I’m not kidding. The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven’s sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something.” — Kurt Vonnegut, A Man Without a Country

Though it’s fearful,
Though it’s deep, though it’s dark
And though you may lose your path,
Though you may encounter wolves,
You can’t just act,
You have to listen.
You can’t just act
You have to think.

Though it’s dark,
There are always wolves,
There are always spells,
There are always beans,
Or a Giant dwells there.

So it’s
Into the woods
You go again,
You have to
Every now and then.
Into the woods,
No telling when,
Be ready for the journey.

Into the woods,
But not too fast
Or what you wish
You lose at last.

Into the woods, but mind the past.
Into the woods, but mind the future.
Into the woods, but not to stray,
Or tempt the Wolf or steal from the Giant-
The way is dark,
The light is dim,
But now there’s you,
Me, her and him.
The chances look small,
The choices look grim,
But everything you learn there
Will help when you return there.

The light is getting dimmer-
I think I see a glimmer-

Into the woods-
You have to grope,
But that’s the way
You learn to cope.
Into the woods
To find there’s hope
Of getting through the journey.

Into the woods
Each time you go,
There’s more to learn
Of what you know.
